LCV Technician

The Role
Join a well-established commercial vehicle business operating a fleet of around 600 vehicles. As an LCV Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing light commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on LCVs and commercial vehicles
- Work predominantly on 3.5-tonne panel vans
- Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Identify and replace worn or defective components
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and statutory inspections
- Complete workshop documentation accurately
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and Health & Safety
- Support the wider workshop team where required
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of five years' experience working on commercial vehicles
- Experienced as an LCV Technician, Van Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong servicing, maintenance, and repair skills
- Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
- Full UK driving licence
- Your own tools
- Reliable transport to and from the workshop
- Experience working on Ford Transit vehicles is an advantage, but not essential
Hours
- Monday to Friday: 06:00–16:00 or 07:00–17:00 (your choice)
- Every other Saturday: 07:00–12:00
